TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT
Practical, engaging training that helps people
understand what drives their behaviour, develop
their skills and bring out the best in themselves
and others.
From focused workshops to longer development
programmes, I combine personal insight with
practical tools and opportunities to put learning
into action.
Training Shaped Around Your People
You may want to help managers coach their teams, give people the confidence to speak up, strengthen presentation skills or make challenging conversations more constructive.
I offer training across confidence and assertiveness, communication, coaching, leadership, influencing, presentation skills, personal effectiveness, emotional intelligence, resilience and wellbeing.
We’ll start by discussing what you want people to do differently and the situations they face. You can choose an established course, have existing material tailored with your own examples and role-plays, or commission a bespoke programme with supporting resources.
Sessions combine discussion, reflection, practical exercises and feedback, helping people recognise the patterns that influence their behaviour and practise new approaches they can use at work.
Delivery can be face-to-face, virtual or blended – from a focused session or half-day workshop to a programme delivered over several months.
What Participants Say
“Jo again delivered a fantastic session adding deep insight which I can only put down to the vast experience she must have. She really does run courses in a class of her own and over the past 8 years stands out as a trainer of choice.”
“You leave with a genuine understanding of why you behave the way you do, alongside a practical plan for how to change it. It’s one of the most enjoyable and valuable things I’ve done.”
“From learning the core fundamentals of coaching and how to confidently undertake a coaching conversation I now find myself using coaching moments in daily interactions with my team.”
“Jo managed to turn us around as confident speakers in just two days of presentation skills training. It’s had phenomenal impact on my public and private speaking engagements since then.”

Planning Your Training
Who is the training for?
I work with employees, managers and senior leaders, adapting the content, examples and level of challenge to their roles, experience and development needs.
How can it be delivered?
Training can be delivered face-to-face, virtually or through a blended approach combining live sessions with videos, reflection activities and practical workplace tasks. We’ll agree the combination that best supports your objectives.
How much time will we need?
Options range from a focused one-hour session or half-day workshop to full-day courses, multi-day training and programmes delivered over several months. The duration depends on what you want people to learn and the opportunities they need to practise.
How many people can attend?
Group size depends on the subject and format. A masterclass can work well for a larger audience, while skills practice and individual feedback usually benefit from smaller groups. I’ll help you choose an appropriate approach.
What is included?
Your proposal will clearly set out the agreed content, design or tailoring, delivery and supporting materials, together with any travel costs or additional support.
What happens after the training?
Where useful, we can include follow-up sessions, coaching, application activities or learning resources to help people put their learning into practice.
How will we review the impact?
We’ll agree what you want the training to achieve and how to review it. Depending on the brief, this could include participant feedback, reflection on learning, observed practice or a later discussion about changes at work.
LET’S TALK
What would you like your people to do differently?
